Whether you prefer bright smooth finishes or heavily textured surfaces with varying degrees of
brightness, we can create them. The finished product can be polished, buffed or brushed just like a solid piece of metal, and using our incredible range of patinas and washes we can create the effects of aging and oxidation.
Artistic Blackening of a steel finish involves the immersion and application of various
acids to the surface of the work producing a more ‘modelled’ colour. More colours come
to the surface such as blacks, browns, golds, greens and purples. This finish is very interesting.
